About the Opportunity Are you organised, detail-oriented, and love providing exceptional customer service? Our Medical Reception team in Moruya support a wide variety of patients, speak with our doctors and referrers over the phone, as well as manage phone and computer bookings. You may also be required to work at our Bateman's Bay clinic from time to time. We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our clinic on a full-time, temporary basis covering parental leave until late 2026. As the face of our clinic, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and referrers in a fast-paced environment, seeing between 60-90 patients per day so you’ll never be bored! As a Medical Receptionist, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for patients, handling face-to-face and phone registrations, bookings, triage, and queries.
- Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle billing and invoicing.
- Operate our booking system efficiently. Assist with back-office activities, including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting as directed by your manager.
- About You In addition to your passion for excellent customer service and organisational skills, you will bring:

- Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks while maintaining timely service.
- Adaptability to various databases and systems. Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
