- Opportunity to progress your career About the role As an experienced Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant (or an experienced Accountant for the right person), you will play a key role in the continual growth of the company. Duties associated with this role include reconciliation of client accounts & invoices, payroll, ATO requirements, payments & administrative duties. You'll manage stakeholders & maintain a positive client focus. Committed to quality work and delivering exceptional service for our awesome clients
- you will become part of a highly skilled and supportive team. Our office is based in Maroochydore and there are flexible working options/hours available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable & payable processing with assisted software automation
- Involvement in payroll & superannuation
- Month-end & year-end profit reporting (following existing process & procedures)
- Ad-hoc bookkeeping & finance tasks as required
- Involvement in team meetings
- Contribute to team discussions & collaboration for continual process improvement
- Undertake regular training
- Administrative duties as required The Ideal Candidate
- Qualifications in bookkeeping desirable, but not essential
- Well rounded experience with Xero
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable & payroll experience
- Understanding of Australian tax & GST
- Great communication skills & ability to build relationships
- Approachable person that can contribute to discussions & an open, collaborative work culture
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable & punctual
