Field Service Technician (Melbourne)

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping life‑saving equipment operational, combining independent field work with strong team collaboration. - Perform installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of critical medical equipment, including ventilators, patient monitoring systems, infection prevention technologies, and imaging systems such as MRI and ultrasound
- Deliver high-quality, primarily field-based service across hospital sites, supported by a central workshop, with occasional interstate travel as required
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise equipment downtime and support clinical operations
- Manage spare parts, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards

Experience required (or highly desirable)
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining medical equipment, ideally including ventilators
- Exposure to imaging systems such as MRI and ultrasound, or medical lasers (highly desirable)
- Qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent hands‑on technical experience
- Solid troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills across electro‑mechanical systems
