Fleet Maintenance Lead (Melbourne)

Ongoing – Full‑time – Salary: $116,413 – $128,631 + 12% Superannuation – Location: Melbourne. This role allows for ongoing full‑time commitment and supports a community‑based organisation building resilience across Victoria. Role Summary
- Provide leadership within the Fleet portfolio of the Fleet, Equipment and Clothing team and coordinate and deliver planned and unplanned maintenance across the VICSES fleet.
- Lead a team of Fleet Maintenance Officers; timely triage, prioritisation, and progress of maintenance requests and explicit communication to members and stakeholders.
- Monitor maintenance activities: track offline vehicles, repair progress, and manage vehicle availability, communicating updates to units and internal stakeholders.
- Analyse maintenance data and performance trends to identify recurring issues, capacity risks, and efficiency improvement opportunities; prepare reports and provide insights for decision‑making, continuous improvement, and planning.
- Participate in the Asset Duty Officer (ADO) roster, providing after‑hours on‑call support and, when necessary, rostered arrangements during declared operations.
