- Maintenance Officer Permanent part‐time role on Monday and Tuesday from 7:30am to 3:36pm – Calvary The Regent, Mount Waverley VIC. About the role The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, well‐maintained, and contribute to the well‐being of our residents. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facility, creating a comfortable and safe workplace for residents. Responsibilities Attend to general maintenance tasks as directed, including gardening as required. Check maintenance logs, prioritise tasks and coordinate contractors as needed. Under the guidance of the Home Manager, plan and schedule maintenance across the home. Order and store stock as required. Ensure timely action on hazards, incidents and other events involving the maintenance function. About you Experience in a maintenance or gardening role. Commitment to continuous quality improvement. Working knowledge of WH&S; and Infection Control. Demonstrated commitment to customer‐focused services. Valid driver's licence class B. Previous experience and understanding of aged care, including retirement village or independent living settings. Trade qualifications and/or experience.
