Fleet Maintenance Lead (Melbourne)

Ongoing – Full‐time – Salary: $116,413 – $128,631 + 12% Superannuation – Location: Melbourne. This role allows for ongoing full‐time commitment and supports a community‐based organisation building resilience across Victoria. Role Summary Provide leadership within the Fleet portfolio of the Fleet, Equipment and Clothing team and coordinate and deliver planned and unplanned maintenance across the VICSES fleet. Lead a team of Fleet Maintenance Officers; timely triage, prioritisation, and progress of maintenance requests and clear communication to members and stakeholders. Monitor maintenance activities: track offline vehicles, repair progress, and manage vehicle availability, communicating updates to units and internal stakeholders. Analyse maintenance data and performance trends to identify recurring issues, capacity risks, and efficiency improvement opportunities; prepare reports and provide insights for decision‐making, continuous improvement, and planning. Participate in the Asset Duty Officer (ADO) roster, providing after‐hours on‐call support and, when necessary, rostered arrangements during declared operations.
