About the Role Join the Infinite team as a Garden/Maintenance Officer at our aged care home in Prahran. This full-time position involves maintaining a beautiful, safe and welcoming environment for residents. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to approximately 3:00 pm. The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate and a fortnightly paid phone allowance. Employee Advantages Free mandatory & self-paced training modules throughout employment Discounted Health Insurance Earn extra income via Carefriends employee referral program (unlimited referrals) Ability to cross-skill into hospitality and resident engagement teams Discounted Fitness Passport to access health and wellbeing sessions Ability to span your career across our 19 homes nationally Employee Assistance Program for family, financial, and wellbeing support services Discounted retail, fuel, and technology items via Employee discounts provider – Flare Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities Undertake general day-to-day maintenance activities to a high standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site Ensure smooth day-to-day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility Provide exceptional client service skills Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including, but not limited to: landscaping & garden maintenance, general repairs, waste removal, painting, test and tagging (training can be provided after commencement) About You Previous gardening and maintenance experience is preferred OHS understanding Self-starter with excellent time-management skills to prioritise work schedules Work autonomously as well as a member of the team with a solid customer-service focus Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one) Positive \"can do\" attitude will ensure your success in this important role Physical Demands This is a physically demanding maintenance role; applicants must be capable of safely performing manual handling and other physical duties.
