We are seeking a Sales Consultant on transactional, commission-based engagement to support our Training, Education, and Certification portfolio. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne, VIC, with opportunities to work from home as needed. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, conducting sales consultations, managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting our training and certification offerings to recent and existing clients. Success in this role requires understanding client needs and delivering solutions tailored to their professional development goals. The following tasks are an essential part of the role:
- Identify, engage, and convert prospective clients for INMAA's training and certification programs
- Build and maintain professional relationships with organisational and individual clients
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics — from venue and scheduling to attendee management
- Represent INMAA Advisory professionally across all client interactions
- Provide regular updates on pipeline activity and confirmed bookings Qualifications
- Previous experience in the project management education and training sector is a must.
- Strong knowledge of the applicable educational frameworks in Australia
- Proficiency in Sales Consulting and the ability to identify and develop opportunities
- A strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and building long-term client relationships
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement
- Customer Service expertise to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Consulting skills that enable problem-solving and tailored recommendations
- High level of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or relevant field
- Active ABN: You operate as an independent contractor with a registered ABN
- Appropriate insurances: Professional indemnity and public liability insurance in place
