- CBD and Inner Metro suburbs Reference: VG/******* Join the Victorian Electoral Commission as a Procurement Coordinator in a full time, 12‑month fixed‑term VPS Grade 4.1 role ($100,894 – $114,476 plus superannuation). This role offers hybrid working arrangements and the chance to support procurement and contract management activities in a fast‑paced, operational environment. What you will be doing Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Business Operations, this role supports the VEC’s procurement function by contributing to the delivery of compliant, value‑for‑money procurement and contract management services. Working within a small team, you will play a key role in ensuring procurement practices are consistent, well‑governed and responsive to business needs.
- Supporting the delivery of compliant procurement and contract management practices, applying approved policies and maintaining accurate registers, reports and records
- Providing practical procurement guidance to business units and responding to enquiries in a timely manner
- Contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
- Coordinating minor procurement activities and supporting delivery across business units What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience applying governance, compliance, risk and confidentiality requirements in procurement and contract management within a public sector environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- High‑level verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
