The Opportunity We are proud to partner with our client Greater Western Water on a multi-year Water Main Renewal contract for up to the next 10 years. This contract will involve the laying of new water pipeline infrastructure across the Greater Western Water network spanning from Central to North West Melbourne. As a result, we currently have the opportunity for new pipelayers to join our crews. The positions are permanent full‑time offering a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime. Your background may be from one of the following:
- Pipe laying experience in watermain renewals (150‑300mm water mains)
- Civil construction
- Water or wastewater infrastructure
- Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you – We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training! You will bring:
- Valid Drivers Licence
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
- The ability to work on sites across Central and North West Melbourne
- Good work ethic and positive work attitude
- A robust focus on safety
- HR or MR licence are desirable but not essential To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will be subject to a pre‑employment medical (including a drug & alcohol test) and a criminal history check. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
