Sales Development Representative – Cybersecurity (ANZ Founding Pod) Job Type: Full-time Ethea Solutions is partnering with a leading global cybersecurity innovator to find a results-oriented Sales Development Representative for the APAC region. About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing, audacious security platform that empowers developers to build quickly without compromising safety—a philosophy they call "Secure Vibe Coding." As they rapidly expand their footprint across the Asia-Pacific region, they are looking for a high-energy, business-savvy SDR to join their founding ANZ "pod" and help qualify the next generation of customers. The Opportunity: Your Gateway to Tech Sales This isn't your average "spray and pray" sales role. This is a career-defining launchpad into the technology sector. Our client prioritizes internal promotion and regularly moves high-performing SDRs into Commercial Account Executive (AE) roles in as little as 6 months. You will act as a true strategic partner to an Enterprise AE, helping to build the "ANZ island" business from the ground up while receiving the mentorship needed to master the tech sales landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Prospecting: Use advanced AI and agentic workflows to identify and target high-value enterprise accounts.
- Value-Led Outreach: Go beyond scripts by analyzing company reports and financial statements to understand an executive’s specific business challenges.
- High-Volume Engagement: Stay "phone native"—comfortably engaging with technical buyers daily to qualify needs and deliver value propositions.
- Territory Ownership: Take full responsibility for your territory’s pipeline in a fast-moving environment that favors frequent contact with reality. Who You Are We are looking for high-aptitude talent , not just a specific CV. While tech experience is a plus, it is not a requirement . We are looking for:
- The Career Transitioner: You may be a "burned out" consultant or a finance/professional services sales expert looking for a high-growth tech transition. If you have a track record of hitting targets in a high-pressure environment, we want to talk to you.
- Technically Curious: You don’t need to be an engineer, but you must be eager to learn the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and speak the language of technical buyers.
- AI-First: You are advanced in using AI tools to automate "grunt work" so you can focus on high-value strategy.
- Grit & No Ego: You have 1–2 years of qualified experience, a hunger to learn, and a "hungry, humble, and smart" collaborative style.
