Operations Enablement Lead - Compliance & Process …, Melbourne

Location: Melbourne preferred but all locations considered (Hybrid/office-based) Reporting to: General Manager – Business Optimisation Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Business Enablement Manager to lead a high-performing Business Services team and play a critical role in enabling compliant, efficient and customer-focused workforce operations across the organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex, process-driven environments and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. About the role As Business Enablement Manager, you will lead a team of approximately eight specialists responsible for national client onboarding, award/EBA rate management, and ensuring accurate, compliant setup across Fastrack360 and UKG Time & Attendance systems. You will be accountable for meeting daily, weekly and monthly service level agreements (SLAs), safeguarding the business through strong governance and data integrity, and continuously improving customer experience through smarter processes, tools and collaboration. Key responsibilities Team leadership & performance
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Business Enablement team.
- Drive accountability, quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive operational matters.
- Own system and process escalations across all Chandler Macleod verticals.
- Lead operational governance for UKG rollouts, including working groups and client calls.
- Drive reporting and performance metric improvements.
- Oversee client setup, contract management and amendments.
- Manage award/EBA rate templates, validations and increases.
- Ensure accurate billing instructions, rate calculations and delegated authority compliance.
- Maintain high data integrity across client, contract and rate records.
- Ensure timely responses to all enquiries within agreed SLAs. Compliance, risk & quality
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, contractual, statutory and internal policy requirements.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and accurate system records.
- Lead team adherence to QMS requirements, including risk and quality issue management. Process improvement & knowledge management
- Lead and contribute to business improvement initiatives and projects.
- Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions and operational guides.
- Manage SharePoint libraries, version control and document governance.
- Build strong partnerships across the organisation.
- Provide trusted advice, guidance and operational support to stakeholders.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong systems capability.
