Claims Team Leader (Melbourne)

We are seeking an experienced claims professional and inspiring team leader to join our Strata Claims team at Marsh. This role is available in our Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role which offers the opportunity to work three days in the office and two days at home. You’ll lead a high-performing team and manage a selected portfolio of Strata insurance claims, delivering excellent leadership and claims outcomes while working closely with clients to achieve timely, cost-effective settlements. Responsibilities
- Respond efficiently and professionally to client enquiries, building trust and confidence.
- Provide end-to-end claims management, from first notice through to resolution and settlement.
- Prepare and submit clear, timely claims reports and status updates.
- Collaborate effectively with your team and internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.
- Lead, coach and motivate your immediate team to deliver high-quality, productive results. Qualifications
- Proven people management and leadership skills.
- Extensive experience in insurance claims management, Strata claims experience is desirable.
- Solid experience interpreting relevant legislation and applying it to liability decisions.
- Proven ability to manage complex claims and reach commercially sensible resolutions.
- Robust, personable communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills to achieve positive outcomes for clients. Benefits
