At Idealair Group we are dedicated to servicing our customers and offering product guidance to help with the growth and success of our customer’s projects. Currently there is an opportunity at our Dandenong south office for a proactive External Sales Representative to join the Idealair Group sales team. Job Description The Role:
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding product availability, pricing and technical information.
- Prepare and manage HVAC project quotations and tenders, ensuring specifications, drawings and deadlines are accurately reviewed and met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding fan selection, HVAC system design and product specifications.
- Assess incoming tender requests, prioritise deadlines and ensure quotations are accurate, competitive and compliant with project requirements.
- Maintain and follow up on quotations and tenders to maximise opportunities and support sales outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to support ongoing business and repeat projects.
- Identify new business opportunities through follow-up of enquiries, referrals, cold calling and proactive engagement with potential customers.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer orders, quotations and project requirements are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor customer activity, market trends and competitor information and provide feedback to support sales strategy.
- Ensure all customer orders and documentation are processed in accordance with company procedures. Desired Skills and Experience Who are you? The ideal candidate should: Have proven experience in sales and a desire to build relationships and sell a market-leading range of ventilation products. Experience within the HVAC market and knowledge of air conditioning systems is advantageous but not essential. Engineering, tertiary, or trade qualifications as well as sales experience in the ventilation industry are also an advantage but not essential. Why Join Us:
