- 12 Month Fixed Term/Job share will be considered The Department: The Neurodevelopment and Disability Team are specialists,with a range of expertise, who promote the highest standards of care for children with developmental disabilities and their families. We provide care for children with developmental concerns, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, spina bifida and other developmental and long-term disabilities. Our team includes Clinicians, researchers, administrators and training specialists with medical, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy and speech therapy expertise. We work together with families to complete research and provide training that answers key questions and to provide a holistic and individualised approach to best care that will improve the lives of children and young people with a neurodisability, and the lives of their families. The Role: A position is available as a Fellow in the department of Neurodevelopment and Disability at the Royal Children’s Hospital. This role provides excellent training for those considering a career in, or a substantial commitment to the field of Neurodevelopment and Disability. Supported by consultants and the junior medical team, the fellow is responsible for overseeing the clinical care of inpatients and conducting a limited amount of supervised outpatient clinics. In addition to the clinical load the fellow is responsible for the coordination and delivery of senior staff meetings. This position is for a twelve month term commencing in February 2027.
