Electrical Project Manager (Western Australia)

We require an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Project Manager to manage the electrical scope of a major ($billion +) west Australian resource sector project from predesign to successful handover to client. The role will be Perth based, managing a design / Project team of 20 +, with occasional site visit as the project progresses into construction. To be considered for the role of EIC Project Manager you need solid experience on complex high value mineral processing projects, ideally with remote plant construction exposure. You will be responsible for achieving project milestones and objectives by monitoring profitability, cash flow, and risk on the project. You will create and manage the projects design and procurement deliverables while monitoring project cost. You will also create and review quality management systems ensuring integration throughout the project with our other engineering partners. You will also be responsible for managing technical proposals and reports as well as ensuring costing data is accurate and contract administration is consistent. Previous experience of a similar Project Management role, preferably in a mineral processing workplace, together with a sound knowledge of engineering principles in major construction environment is preferable. This project is scheduled to run for 36 months, with design phase at kick off stage.
