- Support the Installation & Commissioning Manager with low voltage electrical installation, switching, energisation and commissioning activities including functional testing and system validation across the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport (SMWSA) project
- Perform on‑site LV installation, testing, commissioning and authorised switching activities in accordance with project and rail energisation rules
- Assist with access coordination and liaison with delivery partners across multi‑disciplinary rail and construction teams
- Support quality assurance activities, including preparation and completion of ITPs, ITRs, commissioning records, NCRs and installation documentation
- Ensure compliance with Siemens project frameworks and procedures, including Configuration Management, Change Management and RFIs
- Promote a strong safety culture by role modelling safe behaviours and contributing to continuous improvement in site operations Your Qualifications And Skills To Create a Better Tomorrow
- Trade qualified Electrician with a current NSW Electrical Licence and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial electrical installation and LV commissioning
- Demonstrated experience in LV commissioning, switching operations and energisation activities, ideally within rail or major infrastructure environments
- LV Operator Training, with the ability to work under electrical network safety rules and authorised switching procedures
- Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) certification, along with a RIW, White Card and valid Australian driver’s licence Experience working on rail infrastructure projects, system interfacing, subcontractor coordination, and knowledge of quality management processes (ITPs, ITRs, defect management) will be highly regarded.
