- To ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a valuable standard with minimum breakage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across kitchen workstations including equipment and ridges.
- Responsible for storing all the dairy products, fish, meats, dry goods and vegetables in a correct manner.
- Assist in preparing and cooking basic dishes under supervision.
- Prepare all the mise‑en‑place for assigned section.
- Assist in quality control of items.
- Ensure proper storage of food and assist with stock rotation and inventory.
- Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Qualifications
- Completion of Chef Apprenticeship.
- Certificate on Commercial Cookery.
- Good hygiene and food safety knowledge.
- Safe and accurate knife skills.
- Knowledge and experience in a variety of cooking methods.
- Desired: Experience as Commis Chef in a 5‑star hotel restaurant or similar environment. Benefits
