Location: Melbourne, Australia Flexible working arrangements: Hybrid, reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis. Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic HR partner to the business, understanding their goals and aligning HR initiatives to support them. Design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Create value and commercial impact by delivering HR strategies.
- Provide advice on strategic people solutions and drive key people initiatives.
- Drive the performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, and feedback processes.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, analyse survey results, and implement action plans to improve workplace culture.
- Support compensation and benefits planning and rollouts during annual and ad‑hoc cycles. Formalise the compensation strategy considering business needs and geographic nuances.
- Contribute to HR initiatives or project teams focused on increasing organisational effectiveness.
- Manage induction and onboarding programs for new hires.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide insights for retention strategies.
- Organise milestone celebrations and engagement activities. Drive employee connects and implement rewards & recognition programmes for the portfolio.
- Work periodically from client office to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people‑related matters including team dynamics, conflict resolution, and HR policy.
- Analyse HR metrics and dashboards to influence decision‑making and monitor effectiveness of HR programmes.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders in a fast‑paced, energetic environment. Skill/Experience Requirements
- 7‑10 years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably in an ICT or Professional Services organisation.
- Experience dealing with the full range of the employee life‑cycle.
- Strong expertise in strategic HR partnership, change management and HR analytics.
- Robust employee‑relations experience managing investigations and disciplinary measures within internal policy and local legislation.
- Experience working in multicultural, international business environments and across multiple time zones.
- Tertiary qualification with strong knowledge of ANZ specific practices and processes.
- Experience managing stakeholders with confidence, flexibility and autonomy.
- Strong administration and organisation skills with a proactive, "can do" attitude.
