Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) Talent Acquisition team is seeking a talented, customer‑focused Sourcing Recruiter. This position is a 12‑month fixed‑term role. - Work closely with business to understand roles and responsibilities, and use that information to develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management, gauging candidates for cultural alignment and motivation.
- Ensure all sourcing channels are sufficiently utilized, including employee referrals, internal CRM, career portals, and job fairs.
- Be a subject‑matter expert on the talent market and offer ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long‑range talent landscape.
- Implement new processes and fine‑tune standard recruiting processes that fit within Amazon’s mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
- Ensure data‑driven approaches in achieving recruitment operational excellence.
- Ensure the ongoing education of hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment best practice and interview skills training. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience or similar, in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and stakeholder relationships.
- Creative sourcing capability with the ability to proactively network and establish active pipelines of external candidates.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, with a laser focus on delivering outstanding business results.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post‑secondary education. Preferred Qualifications
- A customer‑centric mindset and unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and cost‑effective recruiting solutions.
- Robust consulting and teamwork skills, thriving as both a team leader and collaborative member.
- Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflows among candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
